2014/2015 BBI Junior Representative Trial Information

Junior Caps Rep Trials

The representative program will commence shortly. 

The cost for trial registration is $33 (GST inclusive). There are a minimum of 3 sessions for each age group so $33 in total plus a small on line transaction fee. Payment by individual session is not available and refunds will not be provided.  ALL PLAYERS MUST REGISTER AND PAY ON-LINE.

Excerpt from the BBI Junior Rules

3.1          Prerequisite for Brisbane Basketball Junior Capitals Representation

3.2.1     Any player who wishes to represent the Brisbane Basketball Junior Capitals in the representative season that commences after the Championship Season MUST:

 â€¢         be registered with BBI and a BBI Club and playing in the BBJBC Championship Season within their correct Age Group as per the calendar year.

•         play a minimum of 50% of eligible games in the BBJBC Championship Season within their correct Age Group as per the calendar year.

•         GBL games do not count towards finals eligibility in the BBJBC championship season

3.2.2     The ONLY exemption to Rule 3.2.1, which will also be assessed by the BBI General Manager, is when a player moves from a Queensland location outside a radius of 100 kilometre from the BBI office at Auchenflower, from a state outside of Queensland or from a country outside of Australia.  If an exemption is granted the player must immediately join a BBI Club.

In addition if your last junior representative game was for an association other than Brisbane Capitals (BBI) youmust supply a completed BQ Junior Player Permission to Train form or a Player Transfer form ( available for download from the BQ website http://www.basketballqld.com.au/resources ) otherwise you will not be permitted to trial.

If you are unable to attend any of the trial sessions you are required to email rep@brisbanebasketball.com.auwith the reason for non-attendance.

Bronze teams may be considered if deemed appropriate and subject to coach availability.

• Reversible Singlet (light and Dark)
• Basketball (name on it)
• Towel
• Jumper/Hoodie (cold weather)
