2016 FALCONS JUNIOR DTP (Development, Training, Play) SEASON INFORMATION

If you are interested in playing with West Brisbane Falcons in the last season (Term 4) for 2016, please register & pay ONLINE via the BIG RED BUTTON on the Falcons Website to secure a spot. All registrations & payments will be made via online registration. Look for the Big Red Button on the Falcons website.

Following the overwhelming positive response over the first 2 years, West Brisbane Falcons will again run our own in-house competitions in all junior age groups during Term 4. Age Groups will alter slightly for the Falcons DTP Season. This will mean we will conduct 90-minute age group sessions on a selected night that will involve a 45-minute training sessions followed by organised matches on the two courts available at Centenary High School. Teams will be selected and compete on a weekly basis with suitable qualified referees controlling the games. Coaches will be on the court coaching the players during the games to help the players to learn and improve their skills. No scores, just lots of fun playing our Falcons friends.

Each age group session and games will be overseen by a Head Coach. The Head Coach will run the training sessions and sort out the teams each week to ensure that competition is as even as possible. This allows the players to put into action what they have learnt at training straight into the games.

Current registered Falcons players wishing to play will pay a one off cost of $25 per registered Falcons member, to cover the cost of referees and additional court hire fees.

New players to the Club will be required to pay this Falcons registration amount ($25/player) plus register with BBI for the short season at a reduced cost, which will be finalised by BBI in late September. We will email you with a link to this registration once the BBI cost is finalized. Please DO NOT pay the BBI fee until you receive the email from us. In 2015, this fee was $30 per player.

Each Gender Age Group will be capped at 32 players so that every player gets the most out of their Falcons experience so make sure you get in early.

Due to the unavailability of the Centenary Sports Stadium on some dates, this is why you will see there is a break mid-season on Wednesday & Thursday in our schedule.
