Congratulations to Dave Owens who has recently been appointed as the Head Coach for the Qld South U16 Boys for 2010.
Dave has worked hard over numerous years in various basketball programs at many different levels and thoroughly deserves his appointment to the State program.
Dave has done it all with West Brisbane over a lot of years and although not officially involved with the club over the past two years, he has been around mentoring coaches and working with various players. His influence on West Brisbane players & coaches can still be seen every week at training and at games.
West Brisbane Falcons would like to wish Dave the best of luck for the upcoming U16 Boys State program and I am sure if previous experience is anything to go by, the players will come out of the U16 Boys State program better for having been coached by Dave Owens.
