Falcons Beginner Basketball Coaching Course

West Brisbane Falcons has experienced a significant growth in numbers from 2009 to 2011.
Obviously as our club grows we will need more players & parents to help with the coaching of our teams.
To that end we have organised a Beginner Coaching Course so that our coaches can gain some insight in how to coach a basketball team.
The Beginner Coaching Course is designed for players, parents and coaches new to the game or coaching. They may include people whose knowledge of basketball isn’t strong and have been given the task of coaching a team this year or parents who simply want to know more about basketball to enjoy their child’s experience.
The course will be conducted by former Australian Women’s Basketball representative & current CEO of Womensport Queensland, Fiona Hannan.
The Coaching Course is FREE TO ATTEND.

2.00pm – 4.00pm
Centenary State High School Sports Centre (where we train)
We are looking for interested players & parents who would be willing to complete the course.
