West Brisbane Falcons Basketball Club in its effort to provide great opportunities for our coaches to learn more about basketball have secured the QBL Brisbane Capitals teams to run 2 clinics at our venue.
The 1st clinic will be run on Thursday April 26 from 6.30-7.30pm at the Centenary State High School Sports Centre, Moolanda St, Jindalee featuring our Falcons U12, U14 & U16 girls.
The clinic will be run by QBL Head Coach Kristen Veal. Kristen has done it all in her basketball career and is now keen to share what she has learnt over the years with our Falcons girls.
Kristen is currently playing with the Logan Thunder in the WNBL but has represented the Australian Opals, played in the WNBA in the USA and has been a part of 4 WNBL Championship teams.
Assisting Kristen will be Emma Randell who has also represented the Australian Opals and has recently played in France & Russia. Emma is also a current member of the Logan Thunder WNBL team.
After the clinic the QBL Brisbane Capitals Female team will train at our venue from 7.30pm-9.00pm in preparation for the upcoming QLD State League season.
All coaches are invited and encouraged to attend this great Coach Education opportunity to pick up some tips & tricks which can then be used at your Falcons training sessions in the future.
