This was always going to be a tough game for our girls with many of our regular GBL girls unavailable but our young ladies (as young as 12) did themselves very proud in what was a tough encounter against a very good Heritage Park team.
Throughout the game no team could break away from the other as both teams applied very good defensive pressure and managed to come up with big baskets when each team needed them. As the majority of the game had been played with the scores close it was only fitting that the game ended with Falcons having foul shots after the siren.
We made one and the game ended in a draw 51-51.
It was a great experience for our girls to play against a different opposition than the normal club basketball.
Thank you to Heritage Park and Coach Chan for allowing us to have the opportunity to play them while they were here on their tour.
