Now we have had a lot of interest so if you are one of the 40 girls attending the clinic and can no longer attend please let me know westbrisbanebasketball@hotmail.com ASAP so I can give the opportunity to one of the girls that missed out.
Can all girls please be at the venue by 6.15pm with socks & shoes on and water bottles filled. If you have a basketball please bring it along but make sure your name is clearly marked on it. Please wear your Falcons training gear for the session.

West Brisbane Falcons Basketball Club in its effort to provide great opportunities for our players to learn more about basketball have secured the QBL Brisbane Capitals teams to run 2 clinics at our venue.
The 1st of these 2 clinics will be for any West Brisbane Falcons Under 12, Under 14 or Under 16 girl and it is FREE OF CHARGE.
The clinic will be run on Thursday April 26 from 6.30-7.30pm at the Centenary State High School Sports Centre, Moolanda St, Jindalee.
The clinic will be run by QBL Head Coach Kristen Veal. Kristen has done it all in her basketball career and is now keen to share what she has learnt over the years with our Falcons girls.
Kristen is currently playing with the Logan Thunder in the WNBL but has represented the Australian Opals, played in the WNBA in the USA and has been a part of 4 WNBL Championship teams.
Assisting Kristen will be Emma Randell who has also represented the Australian Opals and has recently played in France & Russia. Emma is also a current member of the Logan Thunder WNBL team.
The clinic is available to the first 40 girls from the U12, U14 & U16 age groups to email the club at westbrisbanebasketball@hotmail.com and let us know that you would like to attend the clinic.

After the clinic the QBL Brisbane Capitals Female team will train at our venue from 7.30pm-9.00pm. This will not only be a great opportunity for our Falcons players to see what it is like to train at the top level but also a great Coach Education opportunity for our coaches to pick up some tips & tricks which they use at Falcons training sessions in the future.
ALL PLAYERS, COACHES & PARENTS ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND
